Ulm, 8. December 2021. Increasing sales, more and more employees and also the managing team is being strengthened – at the medical technology company ulrich medical, all signs are pointing to growth. Most recently, the board of management has been expanded with the addition of Cornelia Schweizer, authorized signatory, and Jürgen Orschel, authorized signatory. Cornelia Schweizer is in charge of global sales and marketing. Jürgen Orschel, as commercial manager, is responsible for the areas of personnel, finance and IT.
In recent years, ulrich medical has grown steadily. From 2017 to the present day alone, the number of employees has increased by 100 to around 470. The sales of the entire group grew just as steadily in the same period by around EUR 28 million to approx. EUR 125 million, according to the forecast for 2021. “This continuous expansion of our success brought with it a large number of tasks that made it necessary to expand the management board,” explains Klaus Kiesel, Chief Executive Officer, and continues, “We are pleased that with Cornelia Schweizer and Jürgen Orschel we have been able to gain two competent and internationally experienced management personalities who will shape the further future of the company with us.” The two strengthen the existing management team, which at ulrich medical also includes Sven Erdmann (Head of Technology and Regulation), Steffen Kölsch (Head of Operations and Quality Management) and Christoph Ulrich (Managing Partner).
